President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for a two-day official visit. The visit is at the invitation of Tanzanian President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan. According to Minister of State for Internal Affairs Juma Witonze Kisekka, the engagements will focus on strengthening Uganda-Tanzania relations through enhanced cooperation in trade, infrastructure, energy, security, tourism and regional integration. The two East African neighbours share longstanding historical, economic and political ties. Discussions are expected to advance mutual interests within the framework of the East African Community and broader regional stability.
